Listing description (show)
The Successful Bidder of this lot will be required to sign and date a Medical Statement of Intent and send to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov prior to remitting full payment and initiating removal. Overview This lot contains (3) Alaris medical modules: (1) 8300 EtCO2 module, (1) 8015 PC unit, and (1) 8120 PCA module. The Alaris 8300 EtCO2 module is a capnography monitoring unit designed to provide continuous respiratory monitoring using side-stream CO2 sampling technology. It integrates with the Alaris PC unit to deliver real-time measurements of end-tidal CO2, respiratory rate, and waveform data, supporting early detection of respiratory compromise. The module offers moisture filtration, customizable profiles for clinical workflows, and is commonly used in critical care, anesthesia, and step-down units. The Alaris 8015 PC unit serves as the central "brain" of the Alaris infusion system. It provides a unified user interface for managing infusion, syringe, PCA, EtCO2, and SpO2 modules. Designed to reduce complexity at the point of care, it features a color display, Guardrails safety software, and supports hospital-wide, multi-modal IV therapy. It connects up to four modules simultaneously, enabling medication delivery, monitoring, and clinical decision support within a single platform. The Alaris 8120 PCA module is a patient-controlled analgesia infusion device designed for safe and accurate administration of pain-management medications. It supports PCA dosing, clinician-programmed bolus parameters, lockout intervals, and integrated safety alerts when used with the Alaris PC unit. The module allows clinicians to tailor analgesic therapy while maintaining tight safety oversight through infusion safeguards and compatibility with Guardrails software.
